Our Practice
Since 1947, South Bend Orthopaedics has focused on providing every patient the best orthopaedic care available. A Traditio n of Excellence in Orthopaedics is our mission, and is reflected in our relationship with the University of Notre Dame. South Bend Spine has provided the orthopaedic surgeons for their athletic department since 1949.
But you don’t have to be a trained athlete to benefit from our expertise. At South Bend Spine our goal is to get you back in the game, whether that means sports, work, or just everyday life. We provide specialized care for our surgery and rehab patients, as well as those suffering from work-related or sports injuries. We are experts in joint replacement, sports medicine, trauma, hand, spine and foot/ankle care.
Our Surgeons are Board Certified
Board certification is an important achievement in the world of orthopaedics. To become board certified, our surgeons completed undergraduate work, four years of medical school, and five years of postgraduate study, which includes internship and residency programs. They have also been practicing orthopaedic surgeons for two years and passed the exam from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Why We Work as Associates
South Bend Spine promises Excellence in Orthopaedics. Patients receive optimum care and doctors benefit from working together as a team.
Be confident that you are getting the best care at South Bend Spine. Since we practice as associates, you don’t have to worry about seeking a second opinion. Group consultations are part of our methodology. We meet regularly to discuss unusual or complicated cases, providing the patient with optimum results.
By working as associates, the patient is also assured medical attention 24 hours a day. Even if your doctor is out of town, you can call us if you feel there is a problem. Your concerns are important to the on-call doctor, just as they are to your personal physician.
